In our ongoing efforts to support the French Immersion Program in Thames Valley, the French portfolio is working to facilitate French Immersion Registration for incoming Grade 1 students for September 2022.  Due to the challenges presented by COVID-19, the registration process will be altered slightly and in-person information nights and visits to feeder schools will not be possible.

-Grade 1 is the only possible entry point into the French Immersion Program unless a student is coming directly from a program where at least 50% of the instruction has been in French

-We encourage all parents/guardians to register their child during the designated registration window of January 17 - February 4, 2022 to facilitate adequate staffing for the new school year

-The last possible date for Grade 1 French Immersion Registration is September 30 of the school year

-Students must be 6 years of age by December 31st, 2022 to register for Grade 1
